How do I know if I’m eligible for your services?
You are eligible if you are an:
- Adult or student with disabilities
- Unemployed or underemployed
- Past Offender
- Experiencing economic or educational obstacles
- Person with physical or mental health conditions, including injuries
- Youth Ages 16 to 24
Programs and locations have distinct funding sources and eligibility criteria.
Our Columbia office
Services are available for persons on probation or parole or any Boone County adult seeking assistance with a job search. YouthBuild is a construction trades training program providing leadership development and academic skills for low-income youth ages 16-24.
For Skills Training we accept referrals from Missouri Division of Vocational Rehabilitation , Workforce Investment Act, Family Support Division recipients of Temporary Assistance and Trade Readjustment Act.
In the Moberly and Boonville areas, persons served must have a qualifying disability.
Are there any fees for your services?
There are Fees for some of the services we provide. A current schedule of Fees can be provided upon request.
Generally, fees are paid by sponsoring agencies such as:
- Department of Mental Health/Division of Developmental Disabilities
- Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
- Rehabilitation Services for the Blind
- Workforce Investment Board
- Veteran’s Administration
- or another third party

Our staff can provide you with personalized leads, as part of their ongoing work to steer you towards your new job. We do not maintain public job postings, but rather, we work with individuals to provide the best opportunities at that time.

How long are the training programs?
